Bristol City have clinched the loan signing of Southampton forward Stern John until January 1st 2008. The striker goes straight into the squad to face Barnsley.
I am not sure why? I am sure all will be explained on bcfc.co.uk. I can only assume that it is with a view to a permanent signing in the January transfer window. Gary Johnson has many ‘clubs in the bag’ I struggle to see why he has the need for yet another driver up front when other areas could be strengthened.
