After two years at the club, Bristol City have released defender Damion Stewart.

The 32 year old arrived in August 2010 from Queens Park Rangers but has not managed to command a regular first team place.

In the end, the Jamaica international made just 24 appearances for the club and his contract was terminated by mutual consent.

‘I’d like to thank Damion for his time at the club and wish him all the best for the future,’ the Robins’ manager Derek McInnes told the club’s official website.
