Kit Symons thought Fulham were excellent in the first half of this afternoon’s clash at Ashton Gate.

Fulham boss Kit Symons watched his side win the game against Bristol City at Ashton Gate on Saturday without needing the second half.

The Cottagers were in front after just two minutes through Moussa Dembele and then he added to the tally just a few minutes later.

Ross McCormack made it 3-0 just after the half hour mark when he sweetly curled home a free kick and before the half time whistle they added a fourth thanks to Ryan Tunnicliffe.

Jonathan Kodjia pulled a goal back for City in the second half but the day belonged to Fulham and Hit Symons told he BBC: ‘First half I thought we were excellent and took our goals really well.

‘We could have put the game to bed in the second half with a couple of early chances, but Bristol City kept on going and made it more difficult for us.’
