Teenager Snapped Up

Teenage midfielder Tom Fry has earned himself a scholarship contract with Bristol City.

The 16 year old had no hesitation in signing the contract which means he will be a full time employee at the club that he has been with since the age of 12.

Fry just has to wait until he finishes his education in July.

David Horseman told the club’s official website: ‘Tom is a clever central midfield player who is very good on the ball and makes smart decisions in tight situations.

‘He likes to pass around corners and collect the ball off the back, and has really worked on his closing down and tracking of runners.

‘Tom has showed excellent mental strength after a couple of operations and really earned his contract.’
