Two LMA Awards For Cotterill


The League Managers’ Association have made Bristol City’s Steve Cotterill their League One Manager of the Year after such a terrific season for the Robins.

City finished the season on 99 points, scoring 96 goals and winning 29 games, they ended the season eight points ahead of second placed MK Dons.

On receiving the award, Cotterill said: ‘Its’ been big a big team effort at Bristol City.

‘It’s been a wonderful year. Success at any club is down to team spirit and way of playing. If you get those ingredients, you have a chance.’


On top of his award for best boss, Cotterill was also handed the Special Achievement award after steering City to their first title for 60 years and also beating Walsall in the final of the Johnstones Paint Trophy at Wembley.
