Villa First To Make Offer For Kodjia?

There are reports coming out of France that say Aston Villa have made a formal bid for Bristol City’s french attacker Jonathan Kodjia.

One of the reasons that Villa joined us in the Championship was the fact that they could not score goals last season and the man that manager Roberto Di Matteo sees as an answer to that problem is Kodjia.

France Football claim that Villa are the first club to make an offer for the man who netted 20 times in 48 appearances for the Robins, and that was in a side that struggled for much of the season as they battled against relegation.

But it is thought that a number of clubs are interested in the 26-year-old including Stoke City, Sunderland, and Derby County.

As for the amount of the offer, it goes without saying that it is undisclosed.
