Bristol City pulled off a fine win against Nottingham Forest on Saturday thanks to a winning goal by Aden Flint.

Forest looked like they were going to put their mini win-less run behind them when Ben Osborn opened the scoring with a low drive.

But Jonathan Kodjia was back amongst the goals again when he tapped the sides level after Joe Bryan hit the woodwork.

Aden Flint completed the turnaround to condemn Forest to three defeats on the bounce and put City back on the winning trail.

Bristol City head coach Lee Johnson told the BBC: ‘It is important for us to get a win after a poor result. We were up against a good side, but we showed that we can compete.

‘If you look at the game as a whole, we could have won by a couple more, because we had the chances. There were some outstanding performances out there, particularly from some of the younger players.

‘We will only get better, as time goes on. We will only improve.’
