There are a few names that have been mentioned as a possible replacement for Keith Millen, but Bristol City caretaker manager Steve Wigley has ruled himself out of the running.

The 49-year-old has taken over as interim manager until an appointment has been made, but that`s as involved as he wants to get when it comes to who goes into the manager`s office.

‘I’m not applying for the job, I’m just looking at the next three days,’ Wigley told BBC Points West.

‘I’m more than happy just to make sure the players are prepared for the incoming manager.’

St Johnstone manager Derek McInnes is the early favourite to be the new man.
