City’s under 18 Academy side have enjoyed a splendid season which should see them finish second or third in their league, a remarkable achievement for a first division club.

However the Academy and Club Management have now had to make their toughest decisions of the season, deciding who should receive professional contracts.

They admit that this year’s decision is the toughest ever and that they are releasing players who, they are sure, have a future in the professional game. However City cannot sign them all as full time pros, so the talented six who have taken the step up are-
Full back- James Wilson.
Midfielders- Danny Wring, Frankie Artus
and Shaun Lamb.
Winger- Jennison Williams
Striker- Elliott Benyon.

Watch out for these boys, they will be following the likes of Coles, Hill, Cotterill and Skuse as they challenge for senior team recognition.
