The 23-year-old enjoyed an excellent debut season in the Championship, which was enough to earn him 32% of the vote to narrowly beat off the challenge of Steven Caulker (21%) and Brett Pitman (17%).

The ex-Barnet winger joined City last summer for nominal fee and has gone on to become one of the bargains of the season at Championship level.

Adomah improved immensely throughout a season where he made 45 league starts for the Robins and mucked in with a highly commendable five goals and nine assists from the right-wing.

Congratulations to Alby from all of us here at Vital and lets hope he’s still tormenting full-back’s in a City shirt next season.
