City outcast John Akinde has returned to Ashton Gate from Dagenham to receive treatment on a groin injury.
The 21-year-old went out on loan ’til the end of the season with the Daggers, but has not played because of pain in the groin area.
He will now be assessed by City’s medical staff to determine the extent of the problem.
