Bristol City take on Milton Keynes Dons on Saturday at stadium-mk with the clubs in 20th and 21st place in the table and both clubs on 31 points, winning the game is of massive importance to both.

It’s likely that Dons boss Karl Robinson will unleash former strikers Nicky Maynard and Jay Emmanuel-Thomas on the City back line as he gives what will be the same squad a bit of a rotation.

But that theory is not cast in stone as Robinson will also be giving Daniel Powell, Dean Bowditch and Alex Revell some thought.

Missing from the side will be midfielder Carl Baker who has been suffering with an ankle injury and has not played since the 1-1 draw with Leeds at Elland Road at the beginning of January.

Daniel Powell will also come into the thinking of Robinson, who for the past couple of seasons has regularly made changes in the midfield and striking positions, and defender Matthew Upson remains on the treatment table, his last game was the 3-0 win over Northampton in the FA Cup.

New City boss Lee Johnson is will most probably field an unchanged starting eleven from the one that beat Ipswich last time out.

But there may be a slight change to the squad as midfielder Ben Gladwin who went back to his parent club QPR for treatment after picking up a knee injury.

He originally came to Ashton Gate on a 93 day loan but has only played the one game since his arrival, that was the 1-0 defeat at Leeds. Rangers were only too pleased to let him return to the Robins.

And the man also injured in that Leeds game, Luke Ayling, is still a couple of weeks away from returning to training.
