Josh Brownhill has said the Play Offs are in the Bristol City squad’s hands and he’s expecting a reaction when we face Leeds United this weekend.

Having capitulated a three goal lead in last weekend’s three all draw with Sunderland at Ashton Gate, John Brownhill has been in front of the media ahead of the Leeds United battle on Sunday at Elland Road and he told the Official Site that not only was he expecting the team to show a reaction to the Sunderland game but he also knew we’d be out for some revenge following the game earlier in the season against Leeds.

‘I think after the game we were disappointed about the result. There was nothing we could do about that so we came in the next day and focused on the the Leeds game. We’re in a great position, the play-offs are in our hands, the mood has been good, as has training this week.’

The midfielder went on to say about his right back role against Sunderland.

‘I played there a couple of times last season, I’ve played wing-back a couple of times this season too so it was different but I enjoyed it. As long as I’m playing, I will enjoy myself. It was tough getting my bearings when receiving the ball but overall I was happy.’

Looking ahead to the trip to Elland Road, he knew that following a three nil defeat on home soil earlier in the year, the players would be looking to balance that up.

‘Sunday is a chance for us to put on a good performance at their place. At Ashton Gate it wasn’t the best game from our point of view. It’s in the back of our heads and we want the three points when we travel to Elland Road this weekend. Recently we’ve not had the results we would have liked, or the performances either but overall the season has been good and everybody still has the energy and quality. We will put out a good show this weekend and hopefully we can get the three points.’
