Bristol City have now confirmed the signing of defender Danny Wilson on an emergency loan.
The 20-year-old joins the Robins until January 22nd from Liverpool, he has appeared in the Liverpool senior side a couple of times, but has so far been unable to command a regular place.
The move suits both sides as it gives City a much needed boost to their defence and the youngster keeps his eye in by furthering his experience in first team games.
Manager Derek McInnes told the club’s official website: ‘It’s good to have another defender on board and certainly one of Danny’s pedigree.
‘We came up against him last season with Blackpool and I saw him playing for Rangers against my St Johnstone team before that.
‘He’s had a frustrating time at Liverpool with chances limited. We thank Brendan Rodgers and Liverpool for accommodating this move.’
