There are reports this morning that Lewin Nyatanga is holding talks with Bristol City after Derby County accepted an offer for the Welsh international.

Nyatanga is set to leave Derby after slipping down the pecking order because of new defenders coming into Pride Park.

And Gary Johnson was quick to make a move for the 20 year old and Derby have accepted a bid made by City.

Talks will take place today and if personal terms can be agreed then the player will undergo a medical at Ashton Gate.

He has made 76 appearances during his Rams career as well as having loan spells with Sunderland and Barnsley.
