Bristol City will be hoping they can pull off another win to give them six points out of six in the last two Championship games.

Watford are the team standing in their way, the Hornets have not won a league game since the opening day of the season when they beat Norwich 3-2 at Carrow Road.

A win tonight for the Robins could lift them into the top half of the table, leap-frogging Watford on the way.

Vital Quotes:

City boss Keith Millen on Watford…
“I always follow their results and enjoyed my time there. It’s nice to see Graham Taylor back involved again as chairman and I know (manager) Malky Mackay well too.

“Malky actually sent a good luck message when I got the manager’s job here and it will be nice to have a drink with him after the game.

“They are a direct side with two front men who work their socks off.

“They also have good energy in midfield. They haven’t brought in many players due to their financial restrictions but they have a good team spirit there.”

Bristol City Team News:

Bristol City manager Keith Millen is likely to name an unchanged team against Watford after the 2-0 win at Scunthorpe on Saturday.

Cole Skuse will once again captain the side even though Louis Carey has returned to the squad while David Clarkson will have to settle for a place on the bench despite his injury-time goal at Glanford Park.

New signing Danny Rose comes into the squad and is likely to be on the bench after securing a loan move from Tottenham while Damion Stewart is fit and will start.

Midfielder Albert Adomah scored at the weekend and also limped off in the second half but is likely to be fit and keep his place in the side as City look for their first home win of the season.

Player to watch: Albert Adomah

Got that scoring feeling back again on Saturday and he wouldn’t mind adding to his tally of two so far this season.

Watford Team News:

Marvin Sordell is pushing for a starting role for Watford.

The 19-year-old striker came off the bench to score twice in Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Doncaster and should be restored to the starting line up.

Sordell should partner Danny Graham in attack after the former Carlisle man recovered from a groin injury, but popular full-back Lloyd Doyley is ruled out.

Doyley suffered a calf injury in training last week so Andrew Taylor, signed on loan from Middlesbrough, will continue at left-back.

Young, hungry for success, scored two on Saturday after coming on as a sub. In form and dangerous.

* The last three meetings between these clubs at Ashton Gate have been drawn.
