The season ends at Loftus Road for City this time around and when you look back on the season, you have to admit that at times, it looked like things would end a lot worse than this.

But already Lee Johnson is looking towards next season and that makes the end of this one so important. A win at Loftus Road could be the win that will attract players to Ashton Gate in the close season as Johnson will lose players himself after Saturday.

A win for Rangers could see them finish in 12th place, so they wont be entering the field just to make up the numbers on Saturday.

A week before Christmas, goals from Aaron Wilbraham and Junior Hoilett saw the two sides draw 1-1 at Ashton Gate. Thats got to be a good bet for this game.

Vital Quotes:

Lee Johnson: On Ben Gladwin “Ben obviously has had a difficult season with injury. He`s a good player.

“He had an outstanding year last year at Swindon, a lot of people were interested in him. QPR took the plunge, but it`s been unfortunate for him this year.

“If he can get a couple of games before the end of the season – he played in the last one and hopefully he plays the next one – he can move into next season really focused.”

QPR Team News:

Winger Jamie Mackie (hamstring) remains the only absentee, with Matt Ingram, Cole Kpekawa and Michael Petrasso set to keep their places.

Player to watch: Tjaronn Chery

A midfielder who has scored ten so far this season, always handy to have.

Bristol City Team News:

Defender Aden Flint will be rested having dislocating his kneecap. According to boss Lee Johnson, ‘it popped straight back in’.

Wales defender Adam Matthews hopes to recover from a grade one hamstring tear before Euro 2016.

Player to watch: Lee Tomlin

Always useful to the side, has weighed in with six goals on his loan spell from Bournemouth. City should try and keep him.
