City Throw It All Away

You`d think that when you are two goals up and approaching the end of the game you would be able to hang on to take all three points?. Unless you`re Bristol City.

Reading staged a remarkable late comeback to win the game at Ashton Gate 3-2 and leaving City shell-shocked deep into injury time.

The winning goal came from Mathieu Manset in the fourth minute of second-half injury time, this was after Jobi McAnuff and Adam Le Fondre had both found the net for the visitors in the final quarter to level the score.

Albert Adomah and Brett Pitman had put the home side two goals to the good after an hour, and that should have been that, but with 17 minutes of the game remaining, Reading had other ideas when McAnuff scored.

Two minutes later Le Fondre levelled from close range and a pulsating contest was won with 60 seconds of adding time remaining by Manset’s cheeky flick.

Adomah had the ball in the back of the net after three minutes, racing clear of a static Reading backline to slip beneath the onrushing Adam Federici, but the Ghanaian’s celebrations were cut short by a hugely debatable offside flag.

How much more of this do we have to take?
