Bristol City left-back Tommy Williams has joined Colchester United on a month’s loan spell.
The full-back has managed just the one appearance for City since he joined up from Peterborough United in the summer.
He is likely to act as cover for Marc Tierney, who is undergoing a scan to see if he has dislocated a shoulder.
The 30-year-old goes straight into Colchester’s squad for their trip to play MK Dons on Saturday.
