Southampton have announced that the date has been set for the Capital One Cup third round tie with Bristol City.
The game will take place on Tuesday, September 24, with a kick off time of 7:45pm at St Mary’s Stadium.
City earned the right to play the Saints by overcoming Crystal Palace at Ashton Gate in the last round while Southampton destroyed Barnsley 5-1 at Oakwell.
Ticket details for visiting fans are still to be announced.
