Former England and Bristol City goalkeeper David James is in training with Exeter City.

James still finds himself without a club since being released by the Robins in May, but he is not training with the Grecians with a view to moving there.

The 41-year-old lives nearby and it`s just an ideal place to train. Exeter have their own array of keeper with former Bradford City and Swindon goalkeeper Rhys Evans signing recently as cover for regular keeper Artur Krysiak.

‘David contacted us last week and asked if he could come and train and we were more than happy to help,’ Exeter manager Paul Tisdale told BBC Sport.
