Bristol City have been successful in getting captain Liam Fontaine to sign a new deal with the club.
The 26 year old has signed a new two and a half year contract which should give him plenty of games to add to his City tally which currently stands at over 200.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Fontaine said: ‘The six years I’ve spent at the club to date have been superb, I’m settled with my family and love the city.
‘I’m just thrilled with the new contract and can’t wait to get fit again and playing once more.’
