One of City’s former midfielders Scott Brown has signed for Grimsby Town.
Brown started his playing career at City in 2004 after being a trainee at Everton, he remained with the club until 2007 when he made the short move to Cheltenham Town.
Since then he has been at a number of clubs but last season the 29 year old was at Conference side Southport where he was the captain.
