City’s Scottish midfielder Paul Hartley has issued a public apology following a public bust-up with Keith Millen.

Hartley conceded a 21st minute penalty against the Royals on Saturday, which triggered a clash with City’s clueless assistant manager.

Speaking to The Sun today, Hartley said: “It was just frustrating and a few things were said over things that had happened in the game.

“I wasn’t happy, he wasn’t happy and we both made our point.

“Football leaves you on the edge at times, but it was all in the heat of the moment. I’ve apologised and it’s all forgiven and forgotten now.”

It adds further credance to rumours that Gary Johnson and his side-kick have lost the dressing room, but I’m sure City fans would rather see an apology from Millen, who is responsible for coaching our permanently pourus defence!
