No Baker Complaints

Steve Cotterill, as disappointed as he was of course, has said he could have ‘no complaints’ about the decision to send off Nathan Baker in the defeat against Blackburn at the weekend.

Which, as we also know isn’t the case about many of the officials decisions of late….

Barker, on loan with Bristol City from Premier League side Aston Villa, will now serve a suspension for his dismissal on Saturday, which isn’t ideal but what can you do!

A foul Jordan Rhodes brought a first yellow card in the first half with his second, obviously this meant a red, coming in the second half for a foul on Tom Lawrence meaning the Robins will have to do without him as he serves a one-match suspension.

This ban will be served on Saturday when Bristol City look to react to the two-nil defeat suffered against Blackburn at Huddersfield’s John Smith’s Stadium. The Terriers should have been buoyed by a weekend win of their own so they’ll ‘have their tails up’ with the Baker absence pleasing them!
