Bristol City midfielder Stephen Pearson will be staying with the club after signing a new two year contract.
The 29-year-old Scotland international was rewarded with the deal after showing his worth to the club last season while on a six month loan deal.
Pearson snapped up the chance to sign dspite other clubs being interested in his services.
‘It’s great that we’ve been able to agree a deal for two more seasons,’ Pearson told the club’s official website.
‘The club is going through a lot of change and it’s a very exciting one to be part of.
‘I had other options available to me and could have waited, but I enjoyed my time at Ashton Gate so much that I knew this was the right club for me.’
