Burnley are said to be keeping their eye on Bristol City striker Brett Pitman if reports are to be believed.

Pitman may be allowed to go if the Clarets come forward with a bid after manager Derek McInnes has been busy boosting his attacking options this summer.

Burnley could do with a striker after losing Danny Ings and Martin Paterson to injury and it’s believed that Eddie Howe is looking for the right man to bolster his side up front.

And after losing the last two games on the bounce, the time may be right for a new face at Turf Moor.
