It wasn`t much fun for City at Oakwell this afternoon, it was however a different story for ex-Robin Danny Haynes came up with the home side`s second goal to help Barnsley on to what was to be their second win in eleven games.

Haynes was still with City up until January when he left for Oakwell, and he put in a determined display as his side turned the game around after falling behind early on.

Marvin Elliott gave the Robins an early lead when he netted on just six minutes and it looked like City were on their way to another three points after turning their season around.

But Elliott was penalised for handball in the box and Andy Gray made no mistake from the spot before Haynes made it 2-1 for the Tykes.

Then Jacob Butterfield had the home crowd celebrating when he scored the third on the stroke of half time.

In the second half, 3-1 turned into 4-1 thanks to Paul McShane.

But the last word on a dull afternoon for City when Nicky Maynard grabbed one back from the penalty spot for City to make it 4-2.
