The performance by Scott Golbourne in the 4-0 victory over Huddersfield Town at the weekend at Ashton Gate was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we’ll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Golbourne was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice – the FL blurb read.

‘A blistering Bristol City display saw them end their home campaign in spectacular style, romping to a 4-0 win against Huddersfield Town. Golbourne contributed to the first and last goals of the rout, as well as playing his part in a clean sheet for the rampant Robins.’

It’s always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Golbourne for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was, of course, the three points.
