What will happen in this one though? Cast your vote so we know if you think it’ll be all smiles or disappointment come the full time whistle.

Barnsley and Nottingham Forest meet at Oakwell with contrasting 100% records. The Tykes have lost both whereas Forest have won their opening two – even at this early stage it could be an important fixture at Oakwell.

Having also lost both games so far, Brentford will want to get some first points on the board against a Bristol City that are seen as some people’s dark horses for a potential top-six push.

Cardiff, fresh from hammering Aston Villa at the weekend, bid to retain the position at the top of the Championship when hosting Sheffield United – the Blades are looking to recover from a first defeat back in the second tier.

Other clubs fancied to challenge for promotion this season are Hull and Wolves along with Leeds and Fulham, these meetings offer up an early taster of what they might be able to achieve.

Reading and Aston Villa have made disappointing starts as each only have a point on the board, albeit it from only two games. They meet at the Madejski Stadium in Tuesday’s slightly later kick off.

A couple of fixtures rollover into Wednesday as winless Norwich play host to unbeaten QPR and Sheffield Wednesday aim to secure a first victory against visiting Sunderland, who head to Hillsborough off the back of a win on Sunday.
