According to some reports, Wolves manager Mick McCarthy has become the first manager to make a move for striker Nicky Maynard.

City are willing to sell the striker during the January window, but the amount that is said to have been offered by the Premier League side is just £1million, and McCarthy would have to up that offer.

Initial approaches from other clubs have been rejected by manager Derek McInnes, he is looking for a more realistic £2.5 million.

Swap offers could be an option for City.

  • being a wolves fan, I think a £1 million offer is taking the P a little, no more than 2 with add on’s or we could offer 1 million and Keogh who I feel would be a good signing for you.
