Wolves striker Liam McAlinden turns out to be a target of City manager Steve Cotterill according to reports.

The 20 year old who is tipped to have a bright future ahead of him is seen by Cotterill as one of the players that could possibly strengthen his side as he prepares for an attempt at promotion to the Championship.

There are al sorts of tales about at the moment with some saying that McAlinden could be being lined up as a replacement for Sam Baldock who is attracting attention this summer. But nothing of an official nature has been said.

So far there is only Brighton that we know about who have made and had a bid turned down, but its suspected that there will be other clubs chasing the man who bagged 26 goals last term.

However, nothing can be sorted before Cotterill returns from South Africa with the players later in the month.
