Bristol City have completed the signing of Rotherham United striker Kieran Agard.
We told you last week that City were the only club with a realistic chance of signing the striker and now here he is on a three year contract for an undisclosed fee.
The 24 year old goes straight into the squad that travels to Rochdale on Saturday, and City boss Steve Cotterill is more than pleased with the signing.
The boss told reporters: “We`re delighted to sign Kieran and I`m even more pleased that he`s decided to come to us for footballing reasons.
“He fits into our wage structure and he`s actually come here for less money than he could have got elsewhere in the Championship.
“I`m delighted he`s here because his goalscoring record last season was right up there, not too far away from the golden boot, taken by our own Sam.
“I`m looking forward to working with Kieran and welcome him to the club.”
Agard has been handed squad number 19.
