Bristol City visit London Road later today hoping to build on the draw they managed against Crystal Palace in midweek.

City will be without the injured Cole Skuse.

The versatile 25-year-old was taken off during the 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace in midweek and X-rays show that he had a fractured and dislocated toe, this will see him miss around four weeks of action.

Louis Carey will also be missing, he has a calf problem that he picked up in training, he will be out of action for another two weeks yet.

And manager Derek McInnes has a further doubt over midfielder Kalifa Cisse, he has a knee injury which ruled him out of the game with Palace last time out.

City have lost their last four away games and in that time they have failed to find the net.

Gabby Zakuani was a major doubt for Peterborough, he has been suffering with a toe injury, he did look like missing the game but yesterday he declared himself fit for selection after opting to play through the pain barrier.

‘Gabby injured his toe again in training before the Cardiff game but the scans showed there isn’t a fracture. We will know more after he has seen a specialist,’ said Posh boss Darren Ferguson.

‘It is obviously very painful though and the problem is he has had so many painkilling injections that he is becoming immune to them.

‘We will have to wait and see what the specialist makes of the injury. He may say we can patch him up again and get him out there, but personally I think that is unlikely.’

Shaun Brisley, who arrived from Macclesfield Town this week, will not go straight into the side for this game.

idfielder Tommy Rowe is in pain from a knock he picked up at Cardiff.
