City The Only Team To Bid For Agard.

Rotherham United boss Steve Evans says the only club to have made a move for striker Kieran Agard so far is Bristol City.

Over the last few days Leeds United had been placed as favourites to sign the forward, but no bid has been received from the Elland Road outfit.

City did approach Rotherham with a bid but that was rejected, Rotherham now await to see if another bid from City goes in or whether Leeds will make their move.

Evans told the Star: “Leeds head coach David Hockaday telephoned me to tell me he thought Kieran Agard was a good player.

“I said I might as well call the manager of Real Madrid and tell him I thought Cristiano Ronaldo was a good player.

“Bristol City are the the only club to have made a bid and that bid was turned down. It is now in their hands whether they decide to come back with another one.’
