Bristol City boss Steve Cotterill says that he was happy with what he saw on the pitch despite his team losing 2-1 to Weaston-Super-Mare this week.

All looked well at half time, the lads were winning 1-0 through Aaron Wilbraham and threatened to score more.

But in the second half, strikes from Dayle Grubb and Jake Mawford saw the game turned on its head.

But Cotterill saw little to get too concerned about, he told the Bristol Post: “We were not quite as sharp as we have been and we got a bit sloppy for their goals.

“But it was a good workout and I`m pleased with the boys. They`ve been at it full-tilt, doing double sessions every day and we are going to get games like this when they look a bit jaded.

“We looked a bit tired and never really got going, but credit to Weston. They played a good game and deserved to beat us.’
