Simon Cox has been called up by Republic of Ireland for the games against Bosnia-Herzegovina, which could see them book their place at Euro 2016.

The on-loan striker will be in the squad that faces Bosnia over two legs, the first of which is on Fri Nov 13 in Zenica before the second game in Dublin on Mon Nov 16, the City official website tells us.

If Ireland come out on top over the two legs, they will reach the tournament finals which are to be held in France next summer.

Cox already has 30 caps to his name, the last of which came in summer 2014.
