Former Bristol City striker Nicky Maynard has left Cardiff to join Wigan Athletic on loan until the end of the season.
Maynard has not been able to command a first team place at Cardiff this season after coming back from an injury which kept him out most of last term.
Maynard has made just 10 appearances in all competitions for the Bluebirds this season in which time he has scored just one goal in the Capital One Cup.
