The Southwest and South Wales Division of the Football Supporters’ Federation are meeting this Sunday (27th). Top of the agenda is ‘Bubble Matches’; a problem area that frequently affects four of the clubs in our region, Bristol Rovers, Bristol City, Cardiff and Swansea.

For these games, away fans have to travel on Club organised trips, with tickets only being handed out on the coaches. The only occasional concession is to allow a collection/meeting point with coaches, usually some distance from the venue. If there is enough interest, the FSF hope to arrange a fans’ forum with a panel that includes representatives of the local police authorities that enforce these sanctions.

If you would like to be involved in the planning of this or have any other contribution, please contact me at ken.malley@fsf.org.uk or by phone on 07976 034242.

The agenda will include –
1 Bubble Matches – fans’ forum
2 Safe Standing
3 Update Taunton Town Supporter Ban
4 Update Merthyr Administration
5 Free FSF Membership Launch
6 Vital Club/National Websites

Everyone is welcome to come whether they are FSF members or not.

Our venue this time is Newport County AFC, The Newport Stadium, Newport, NP19 4PT. http://www.newport-county.co.uk/

Sunday 27th September, noon buffet for 12.30pm start.
