Now the play-offs are all over, we now know the complete line up of Championship sides that will provide stiff opposition to Bristol City next season.

Middlesbrough remain in the Championship after they were beaten by Norwich City in Monday’s play-off game so that means a long trip and the chance to meet up again with Albert Adomah.

Coming with us from League one will be Preston North End who won their play-off game with Swindon on Sunday and the club that finished runners up to City in the league, MK Dons.

Dropping down from the Premier League are QPR and Burnley, they were joined by Hull City who could not manage to survive on the final day of the season despite holding Manchester United to a 0-0 draw on the final day of the Premiership.

Clubs that were already in the Championship are the likes of Birmingham City, Cardiff, Bolton, Forest, Reading and Wolves, just a few of the clubs that have played in the Premier League in recent seasons.

Everyone will no doubt be looking forward to the fixtures being released on 17th June.
