Bristol City travel to Portman Road this weekend to take on Ipswich Town in the Sky Bet Championship.

Steve Cotterill will be looking for a win that will help to lift his side from the relegation zone, City have been struggling to get the points so far this season as they try to settle back into life in the Championship after promotion last season.

But Cotterill insists that his side are playing football the way he believes it should be played and will carry on in his mission.

Cotterill has loan signing Nathan Baker available for selection even though he was forced off the field early in his last game against Preston when he picked up a back injury. He missed last Saturday’s home game with Reading which City lost 2-0.

And it was in the game against Reading that Korey Smith picked up a groin injury, this means that it is touch and go whether the midfielder will be passed fit to take part in the game.

Bobby Reid is set to take his place should he not make it.

Ipswich manager Mick McCarthy has much to think about before the game. Two midfielders, Tommy Oar and Kevin Bru both put in good performances in midweek although Ipswich went down 3-0 at Old Trafford in the Capital One Cup.

The pair was part of the 11 changes McCarthy made to his side and now he must decide whether to give one, both or neither of them a chance against City.

Although the usual suspects look likely to return to the side, but there will be no place for Luke Hyam who is recovering from a knee injury.

Teddy Bishop is also a doubt.
