The Nottinghamshire based referee last took charge of a City game at the start of this season when the lads lost 2-0 at Sheffield Wednesday.

There was four bookings in the game, three of them going to City players Ryan Fredericks (now with Fulham), Marlon Pack and Aaron Wilbraham.

So far this season, Adcock has taken charge of 24 games, shown 59 yellow cards and just the one red.

Assisting Adcock will be Paul Hobday and Adrian Tranter while the fourth official duties go to Wayne Barratt.
