Bristol City are supposed to be interested in signing Leeds United striker Ross McCormack according to reports.

The 25 year old is not very interested in signing a new deal at Elland Road as he comes into the last year of his contract, just the ideal time to make sure you are touted around the clubs to see if a better deal is on offer.

And that`s just what his agent is doing.

Word is that Leeds would be prepared to let the player go at the right price and City are known to be looking for a new striker after losing Nicky Maynard to West Ham United during the last transfer window.

McCormack would be just what City are looking for, he scored 19 goals for Leeds last season including one in each game against the Robins.

Wigan Athletic and Huddersfield Town are also said to be interested although it`s likely that Leeds will want upwards of £2million to part with the Scot.
