Bristol City boss Keith Millen is sure that his side will not find themselves in a relegation battle when the season draws to an end.

He feels confident, but with the last six games bringing in just four points and the crowd becoming ever more desperate to see an improvement, Millen must now be feeling some pressure.

In theory there is plenty of time to make sure of safety in what has been mainly a disappointing season so far, but the fact that City are just one place above the relegation zone just six points in front of Sheffield United, fans are beginning to sweat.

Tonight won`t be easy either, the Robins face a Leicester City team lead by Sven and they look like they could be going up, so a win tonight would go a long way to allaying the fears of a drop.

Millen told the Bristol Evening Post: ‘Without doubt, we have the right determination, the right desire and the right work-rate to stay up.

‘We’ve been decent some days and average on other days when we’ve conceded two or three goals. That has been bitterly disappointing, because we have been unable to discover the level of consistency needed to climb the table.

‘We don’t want it to be a fight until the end of the season and it doesn’t have to be, but if we continue to be as inconsistent as we have been, then that may well be the case.

‘But even if that happens, I still feel we have enough in our locker to get out of trouble. There are enough games coming up that are winnable and I’m confident we will be okay.

‘Given the way the season is panning out, you have to say the balance of the squad is still not right. That said, we still have enough quality to be safe.’
