Nearly A Point At Palace

Bristol City remained glued to the bottom of the Championship after going down 1-0 at Selhurst Park to Crystal Palace.

City did not have too bad a game, they had a fair share of possession, pushed the ball around a bit, but when it came to creating a chance they were pretty woeful in front of goal.

As for Palace, the win made it their best start to a season in six years, but they left it late.

In fact it wasn`t until the game was looking like it was going to end as a stalemate that Palace took the lead in the 81st minute and while the home fans celebrated the City fans were left to wonder if the next manager could work some magic and restore some pride and ambition back into the side.

Substitute Jonathan Williams was brought down in the box by Lewin Nyatanga, and Murray finished confidently.
