Unless there is a late change, the referee for Saturday’s game at Middlesbrough is Neil Swarbrick of Lancashire.

You have to go right back to 21st February 2010 to find the last time Swarbrick took charge of a game involving Bristol City. The opponents that day at Ashton Gate were West Brom and City won the game 2-1 thanks to goals from Chris Iwelumo and Lee Johnson.

Four players were booked, all for West Brom.

This season Swarbrick has been in charge of 11 games in all competitions, in that time he has shown 39 yellow cards, five in his last game between Wigan and West Brom. He has yet to show a red card this season.

Running the lines on Saturday will be Simon Bennett and Sian Massey while the Fourth Official is Mark Brown.
