Scott Murray is out of contention for tomorrow’s trip to Tranmere Rovers and is likely to miss the rest of the season.
Cole Skuse and Steve Brooker are, however, back in full training and take their place in the squad.

The game at Prenton Park is of tremendous importance to the home side who are in a poor run of form and battling to avoid being drawn into the relegation battle.
City, on the other hand, have little chance of making the divisional play offs but will be eager to maintain their present excellent form to retain confidence for the 2006/07 campaign.

Back at Ashton Gate, City triumphed in last night’s fan’s derby, beating Rovers 2-1 with one of the goals being scored by the Chairman’s son !!

It seems impossible that it was thirty years ago that we celebrated promotion to the old First Division. I remember the match and the celebrations at the ground very well, the extended celebrations are a little bit of a blur, but I am told that a member of the constabulary did ask me to remove myself from the Victoria Rooms fountains at about 4am.

Let’s hope that it will not be too long before we have cause for such celebrations again !!!
