Deadline day has passed at the Gate for this season now, with two leaving on loan and one returning.

Rookie keeper Stephen Henderson has joined League Two side Aldershot on an initial one month’s loan where he joins fellow City youngster Marlon Jackson, who’s at the Recreation Ground on a season-long loan.

Big striker Jon Akinde has yet again been farmed out on loan, this time to League One team Brentford.

Akinde has already been out on loan to Wycombe this season and has slipped further down the pecking order with the arrival of Patrick Agyemang from QPR last week.

Meanwhile, the manager’s son Lee Johnson has returned to Ashton Gate after Gary Johnson rejected Derby’s offer to extend the loan until the season. Oh the joy!

Wantway keeper Adriano Basso also remains at the Gate with only League One Exeter showing a genuine interest in the South American stopper.
