City’s top scorer Steven Davies will not take part in the game with Birmingham City at St Andrews on Tuesday.

The striker, who City have to thank for six goals so far this season, suffered a grade one hamstring tear which kept him out of the defeat at Huddersfield on Saturday, but word is that there is a slim chance he could be ready for the game with Charlton on Sunday.

Sam Baldock took the place of Davies on Saturday and it looks very much like the ex-West Ham man will be up front tonight.

Manager Derek McInnes has no fresh injury worries but Jody Morris will miss out again.

Ryan Taylor came on as a substitute after the former Rotherham striker recovered from a sore ankle while.

Neil Kilkenny made a return to action for the first time in a month.
