Ipswich Town and Bristol City ended up with a point each after their Championship encounter at Portman Road on Saturday.
City would have been more pleased with the result than Ipswich were but it was a little disappointing that the Robins allowed the home side back into the game after taking an early lead.
That lead came on 11 minutes when Danns latched onto a loose ball and fired home from the edge of the box.
Ipswich tried to hit back but Tom Heaton was in good form, making an excellent save from DJ Campbell.
At the other end Adomah got onto a through ball from Jon Stead but in the end he could only fire the ball wide of the target.
It was on 35 minutes when Ipswich found the equaliser, Heaton being beaten by an overhead kick by Tommy Smith.
With 10 minutes to go until half time, Ipswich made it 1-1 as Smith found the back of the net with an overhead kick from a corner.
In the second half Guirane N’Daw tried his luck from 25 yards, but Heaton again made a good save.
No more goals were registered and although City picked up an away point, they still slipped into the bottom three.
